After the LG-IM player had taken a 3-0 lead Squirtle managed to even the scores in an impressive fashion. Both players showed their broad spectrum of strategies to their avail, going as far as using Battlecruisers, Mass Recall and last but not least some forward barracks. Mvp’s win over Startale’s Protoss, who had a strong run in his first Code S season losing only one game to MMA in the tournament prior to this, was observed by his parents in the crowd and thousands at home, with #GSL shortly trending worldwide on twitter. Since the viewership success of this January's HomeStory Cup IV, project initiator Dennis "TaKe" Gehlen has announced the date and the coming qualifiers for the July 5-8 event. Similar to the last edition, five qualifiers will lead up to the event. Each qualifier victor will receive a spot at HomeStory Cup V and an all expenses paid trip to Krefeld, Germany where the event is held. Players who has already qualified for the coming tournament are Mihaylo "Kas" Hayda and Ilyes "Stephano" Satouri. The duo ended top two in an invitational tournament held in May. On May 11th, Thisisgame.com published two articles stating that eSports Holding--the now officially former oGs sponsor--had discontinued the partnership with the team, wanting to focus on League of Legends and team Xenics Storm in particular. The same source said that every player's contract and that of team coach TheWind had been cancelled but that they were planning to rebuild the team anew under a different name.
